CCA Baseball Club Minutes 1/18/12

Attendance: Andrew Davis, Trevor Bollers, Mike O’Connor, Todd Liddell, Matt McAreavy, Mike Wurth, Marci Armstrong, Brett Mehman

News: 12U has added a new player; this will allow each team to have 9 core members. Board and coaches will need to decide what days will work best for scheduling games. O’Connor and Wurth will attend the city council meeting on 1/25 to inquire about field availability.

Uniform: Trevor will e-mail logo and current ideas. Board will review and decide.

Hot-feet camp: Still looking at dates and facility availability.

Clinics: Would like to schedule coaches clinic a.s.a.p. Drills for fundamentals, or poll coaches for desired topic. The Board would like one coach from each team to attend. Date to be determined. Player’s clinic would most likely be scheduled for a Saturday.

Other topics: Board will try to secure a pool of umpires. Scheduling—still to be determined if teams will join a league or schedule independently.
