11/2/11 CCA Baseball Club Minutes
Open forum—Chad Wood addressed the board. He presented two different options for uniforms. Also one uniform supplier has very reasonable prices for catchers gear. Chad also reminded the Board that Diamond Dreams has a free one hour team instruction available.
Player Commitments—17 commitments ($75.00 deposit) were received from the pool of 50 players by the November 1st deadline.
14U Update—Coach Davis informed the Board that the athletic director is requiring that all twenty 14U players be invited to participate with the freshman team.
By-Law addition—part g. was added to Team Divisions for 11U to 14U, stating the following: Once teams are formed they can be capped at the Boards discretion. New players that were unable to participate in tryouts (e.g. someone who moves into the district after tryouts) will be added. Players who chose not to attend tryouts will not be added unless enough players are added/recruited to form an additional team.

Two season passes for Clipper varsity baseball games will be added to the Gold sponsorships.
Other items—No new sponsorship money was received this week. Sponsorship letter will be updated to include the new divisions and benefits. President O’Connor will contact Slims to set up a fundraising night. Each player will be required to sign a code of conduct form. Meeting date will not be changed.
