The Clippers Baseball Club is discussing tournament options for this weekend.<\/li><li>NLYBS will operate the concession stand the weekend of 6\/6\/20. The Clippers Baseball Club would receive gate fees and is responsible for hiring umpires. There would likely be USSSA fees as well.<\/li><li>Nick Pfeiffer will send a message to coaches to gauge interest in organizing a tournament.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>April Schmitz will contact Naomi\u2019s Kitchen to get additional information about fundraising opportunities. Fundraising targeted for March 2020 \u2013 IN PROGRESS<\/strong><ul><li>The second week (3\/9-3\/13) or the third week (3\/16-3\/20) of the month is when pickup usually occurs.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Ethan Smith will contact Don Hummer Trucking to check interest to host fundraiser \u2013 IN PROGRESS<\/strong><ul><li>No updates.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Sponsorship:<\/strong><ul><li>Nick Pfeiffer sent out the solicitation letter to approximately 60 local businesses regarding sponsorship opportunities.<\/li><li>Solon State Bank committed to a silver sponsorship package for $150.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Fundraising:<\/strong><ul><li>Jimmy Jack\u2019s fundraiser raised $200.35<\/li><li>Mosley\u2019s fundraiser raised $258.83<\/li><li>Ironside fundraiser raised $560.20<\/li><li>Puravida bracelets fundraiser is expected to raise around $600. The club will revisit this fundraiser opportunity later this year.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Club Debts<\/strong>:<ul><li>Clipper Classic\/Field Usage \u2013 checks sent for $650 to the city of North Liberty ($1,961 outstanding), and $530 to the city of Tiffin ($1,060 outstanding).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Update on Pending Legal Details:<\/strong><ul><li>Pretrial conference scheduled for 2\/7\/20, updates are expected following this meeting.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Clipper Classic:<\/strong><ul><li>Nick Pfeiffer is putting together a sub-committee to discuss tournament details.<ul><li>The sub-committee will discuss a collaboration with Panchero\u2019s to offer discounted burritos the club can buy for $2-3 and sell at the Clipper Classic for $5 to raise money. Nick Pfeiffer will reach out to Panchero\u2019s regarding this opportunity.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Nick Pfeiffer will reach out to Alpha Graphics to price out pitching cards (what coaches turn in after games).<\/li><li>CCAYLL President Scott Webb has reached out to the Clippers Baseball Club about using their fields in Oxford to host tournaments.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report:<\/strong><ul><li>1\/13\/20 Clippers Baseball Club checking account balance: $8,626.47<\/li><li>Roster and Dues Update from 1\/13\/20:<ul><li>Nick Pfeiffer will send an email reminder to folks who still need to pay. Families who have not paid first payment dues:<ul><li>8U Team (Nick Pfeiffer following up)<ul><li>1 outstanding unpaid player.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>9U Team (Nick Pfeiffer following up)<ul><li>1 outstanding unpaid player.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Open Discussion:<\/strong><ul><li>No updates.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Decisions:<\/strong><ul><li><strong>DECISION (10\/14\/19): The CCASD, insurance dues, and mound rental fees are the top debt priorities: $500 owed to CCASD, $793.10 owed for insurance dues, and $500 owed for mound rental fees.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>DECISION (10\/14\/19): There is $479 left after CCASD, insurance dues, and mound rental fees are paid.Of the remaining funds raised $100 will go to Tiffin Parks &amp; Rec, and $350 will go to North Liberty Parks &amp; Rec.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>DECISION (11\/11\/19): The Clippers Club Board voted in favor of making the Clipper Classic a one-day USSSA sanctioned tournament.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>DECISION (12\/9\/19): $621.72 has been raised to repay debts.
