The Board elected to move the Clipper Classic to\u00a07\/18\/20\u00a0and keep it a one-day tournament. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>USSSA\u00a0is extending insurance through the month of August 2020, so the 2020 season now runs through 8\/31\/20. Normally the season ends 7\/31\/20.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Spring Fan Gear:<\/strong><ul><li>Some items have not been delivered yet because one of the manufacturers is shut down. They are planning to be back online 4\/15\/20. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Anyone needing a Clippers Baseball Club official fitted team hat, there is one last opportunity to order before the season. Use this link and order\u00a0by Wednesday, 4\/22\/20: <a href=\"https:\/\/clipperbaseballclubplayergear2020.itemorder.com\/sale\">https:\/\/clipperbaseballclubplayergear2020.itemorder.com\/sale<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Sponsorships:<\/strong><ul><li>MBA, Inc donated $25 to the Clippers Baseball Club.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Fundraising:<\/strong><ul><li>Breakdown of Fundraisers:<ul><li>Pura Vida Bracelets Fundraiser raised $600.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Tap N\u2019 Tacos Fundraiser (Brunch for Baseball) raised $105.54.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser raised $96.82.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Mellow Mushroom Fundraiser raised $57.64.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Naomi\u2019s Kitchen Fundraiser raised $220.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>The Cedar Rapids Kernels awarded the Clippers Baseball Club with a $1,000 grant to be used for equipment purchases. <ul><li><strong>DECISION: The Clippers Baseball Club Board will split the $1,000 grant money evenly among the 6 club teams. Each team may be reimbursed up to $166.67 for equipment purchased between 1\/1\/20 \u2013 5\/31\/20. <\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Coaches will need to scan or provide photos of receipts or proof of purchase of equipment and email them to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ccabaseballclub@gmail.com\">ccabaseballclub@gmail.com<\/a>. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Once a team&#8217;s equipment expenses amount hit at least $166.67, the Club will issue the team a check for that amount. Coaches will be asked to document all dollar amounts paid for equipment, practice facilities, and tournament fee forfeitures. The remainder should be refunded to players evenly or held over to the 2021 season if there are no player changes on a team.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Club Debts:<\/strong><ul><li>Outstanding Debts:<ul><li>Clipper Classic field usage (City of North Liberty) \u2013 outstanding balance of $1,411 owed.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Unpaid Clipper Baseball Club Scholarship \u2013 outstanding balance of $500 owed.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Hills Bank negative account balance \u2013 outstanding balance of $689.90 owed.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Clipper Classic reimbursement &amp; plugs (Prairie Hawks &#8211; 14U team) \u2013 outstanding balance of $225 owed.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION: $187.23 has been raised to repay debts. The club will pay $180 (rounded down) to city of North Liberty.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Update on Pending Legal Details:<\/strong><ul><li>Former Clippers Baseball Club President, Adam Henderson, pled guilty to embezzling\u00a0funds. His sentencing date is set for Monday, 6\/1\/20 at 11:30am at the Johnson County Courthouse.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>About $38K is owed, and no restitution has been paid.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Clipper Club 2021 Tryouts:<\/strong><ul><li>Club tryout dates are scheduled for Wednesday, 7\/15, and Saturday, 7\/25. More details to come. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>The Board will revisit tryout dates at the 5\/11 board meeting.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Treasurer\u2019s Report:<\/strong><ul><li>4\/13 Clippers Baseball Club checking account balance: $10,337.85<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>4\/13 Roster and Dues Update:<ul><li>Families who have not paid second payment dues:<ul><li>9U Team<ul><li>1 unpaid player<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Open Discussion:<\/strong><ul><li>No updates.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Decisions:<\/strong><ul><li><strong>DECISION (10\/14\/19): The CCASD, insurance dues, and mound rental fees are the top debt priorities: $500 owed to CCASD, $793.10 owed for insurance dues, and $500 owed for mound rental fees.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (10\/14\/19): There is $479 left after CCASD, insurance dues, and mound rental fees are paid.Of the remaining funds raised $100 will go to Tiffin Parks &amp; Rec, and $350 will go to North Liberty Parks &amp; Rec.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (11\/11\/19): The Clippers Club Board voted in favor of making the Clipper Classic a one-day USSSA sanctioned tournament.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (12\/9\/19): $621.72 has been raised to repay debts. The club will pay $300 to the City of North Liberty, and $300 to the City of Tiffin.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (2\/10\/20): $899.23 has been raised to repay debts. The club will pay $450 to the City of North Liberty, and $450 to the City of Tiffin.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (3\/9\/20): $705.54 has been raised to repay debts. The club will pay $610 to the City of Tiffin, and $100 (rounded up) to the City of North Liberty.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (4\/13\/20): The Clippers Baseball Club Board will split the $1,000 grant money evenly among the 6 club teams.
