The second 8U team will be led by Alex Schultejans.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>106 players are scheduled to be evaluated and to date only 5 have not paid the evaluation fee.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><u>Fundraising<\/u>:<\/strong><ul><li>365 Nutrition Fundraiser:<ul><li>Fundraiser was held Sunday, 7\/19 from 11am-3pm. The club raised $651.38 (40% of total sales).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Hometown Nutrition (in Tiffin) Fundraiser:<ul><li>Scheduled for Friday, 8\/21 3-7pm.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><u>Sponsorships<\/u>:<\/strong><ul><li>No updates.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><u>Outstanding Club Debts<\/u>:<\/strong><ul><li>City of North Liberty (Clipper Classic Field Usage) \u2013 outstanding balance <strong>PAID IN FULL<\/strong>. $1,056 was approved by the Board to pay towards the debt.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Clippers Club 7U team \u2013 Brad Curtin (Bounced checks\/unpaid tournaments) \u2013 outstanding balance <strong>PAID IN FULL<\/strong>. $285 was approved by the Board to pay towards the debt<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Clippers Club 8U team \u2013 Nick Pfeiffer (Bounced checks\/unpaid tournaments) \u2013 outstanding balance of $550 owed. $620 was approved by the Board to pay towards the debt<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Clippers Club 11U team \u2013 Travis Weber\/Kelly Weber (Bounced checks\/unpaid tournaments) \u2013 outstanding balance of $440 owed. $1,696 was approved by the Board to pay towards the debt<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Hills Bank (Hills Bank Negative Account Balance) \u2013 outstanding balance of $689.90 owed.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Prairie Hawks 14U team \u2013 Ryan Burns (Clipper Classic Reimbursement &amp; Plugs) \u2013 outstanding balance of $225 owed.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><u>Update on Pending Legal Details<\/u>:<\/strong><ul><li>Former Clippers Baseball Club President, Adam Henderson, pled guilty to embezzling\u00a0funds. His sentencing hearing is rescheduled for Tuesday, 9\/15\/20 at 11am at the Johnson County Courthouse.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>About $38K is owed, and no restitution has been paid.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><u>Treasurer\u2019s Report<\/u>:<\/strong><ul><li>The latest monthly Clippers Baseball Club checking account statement from 7\/31 has a balance of $10,925.59.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><u>2021 Club Election of Officers<\/u>:<\/strong><ul><li>The Clippers Club Board elected the following officers at the 8\/17 Clippers Club Annual Board Meeting:<ul><li>Nick Pfeiffer will remain Club President.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Kelly Weber will remain Club Treasurer.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Matt Carlson will remain Club Secretary.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Jeremiah Herdliska will remain Club Vice President.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><u>Open Discussion<\/u>:<\/strong><ul><li><strong>ACTION ITEM: Jeremiah and Sara Herliska will organize a Clippers Baseball Club garage sale; the date is TBD.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><u>Decisions<\/u>:<\/strong><ul><li><strong>DECISION (10\/14\/19): The CCASD, insurance dues, and mound rental fees are the top debt priorities: $500 owed to CCASD, $793.10 owed for insurance dues, and $500 owed for mound rental fees.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (10\/14\/19): There is $479 left after CCASD, insurance dues, and mound rental fees are paid.Of the remaining funds raised $100 will go to Tiffin Parks &amp; Rec, and $350 will go to North Liberty Parks &amp; Rec.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (11\/11\/19): The Clippers Club Board voted in favor of making the Clipper Classic a one-day USSSA sanctioned tournament.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (12\/9\/19): $621.72 has been raised to repay debts. The club will pay $300 to the City of North Liberty, and $300 to the City of Tiffin.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (2\/10\/20): $899.23 has been raised to repay debts. The club will pay $450 to the City of North Liberty, and $450 to the City of Tiffin.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (3\/9\/20): $705.54 has been raised to repay debts. The club will pay $610 to the City of Tiffin, and $100 (rounded up) to the City of North Liberty.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (4\/13\/20): The Clippers Baseball Club Board will split the $1,000 grant money evenly among the 6 club teams. Each team may be reimbursed up to $166.67 for equipment purchased between 1\/1\/20 \u2013 5\/31\/20.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (4\/13\/20): $187.23 has been raised to repay debts. The club will pay $180 (rounded down) to city of North Liberty.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>DECISION (6\/8\/20): $674.25 has been raised to repay debts ($675 rounded up).
